The edge of the upturned brim and the bottom of the round crown are embellished with intricate bands of gold braids and small pearls edging the brim and the crown,, plus the brim is enhanced with scattered larger pearls all over. Around the top of the crown also has a gold braid. there is an elastic band attached to the inside of the hat to keep in in place.
