The green felt asymmetrical cap is highly decorated with beautiful beige/cream curly feathers plus black velvet bows and a full black veil. there is an elastic band attached to the inside of the hat to keep it in place. This is a c collector\'s dream! The wartime 40’s saw a huge variety of hats that were suitable for any face shape, hairstyle or personal preference. Throughout the war & on both sides of the Atlantic, elaborate creations brightened dreary utility fashions, brought about by rationing. The only items not rationed were hat materials.
