ULTRA RARE: Vintage \"Sports Coach\" Backpack in British Tan
A true unicorn for vintage Coach collectors. This is not your standard 90s backpack—it belongs to the specialized Sports Coach collection. What makes this piece exceptional is the unique, series-specific hardware and branding found only in this line.
Unique Stamped Hardware: The solid brass turnlock plate is uniquely stamped with \"SPORTS COACH\" (see photos of disassembled components for verification). This is a vital authenticity marker for this specific line.
- Signature Golfer Branding: Features the rare golfer silhouette logo embossed on the interior creed and stamped onto the solid brass zipper pull.
- Premium Material: Crafted from thick, buttery Glove-Tanned Cowhide Leather in the highly coveted British Tan.
- Artisanship: Handcrafted in the United States.
- Style: Drawstring bucket silhouette with top flap, solid brass turnlock, and adjustable straps.
Condition:
- Leather: Beautiful vintage condition with a rich, glowing patina. Minor surface scuffs and natural \"veining\" (noted on the creed as a natural characteristic of this leather).
- Hardware: All solid brass components show a gorgeous natural age. The \"Sports Coach\" backplate is crisp and legible.
**Note: The leather drawstring cord has a small, minor fray at the knot (pictured), but is fully functional and strong.
Dimensions:
- Approx. 10\" H x 9\" W x 5\" D
- Registration No. 153-0418
